For a lot of people, today marks the return to college for another year.
It’s been a very strange year and a half for everyone and it’s been difficult for college students to adjust.
It was a big change when lectures went virtual and now that a lot of colleges have resumed on campus lectures, students have to revisit the life they knew pre-pandemic.
If you’re feeling a little uneasy or anxious about the return to college, just remember that your feelings are normal and not overlooked.
A lot of us have not experienced a lot of social interaction in the past year and a half and that can cause the return to a busy college life to feel quite intimidating.
If you feel overwhelmed or anxious in the coming weeks as you settle back into college, don’t be afraid to take some time for yourself. Treat yourself with kindness and don’t hesitate to reach out and find someone to talk to. There is always someone ready to listen.
The very best of luck to you.
