Happy International Women's Day (IWD) 2022! This year, we come together to #BreakTheBias - campaigning for a world without gender bias!
Did you know that only 1 in 3 entrepreneurs are women? Despite that fact, since 2008, 58% of newly self-employed people are women: that's an estimated 163 million women! It is clear that there are changes have been made over the years, resulting in more women feeling empowered to follow their business goals and pursuits. However, we must continue to campaign for change, as, unfortunately, things are still very much unequal. For example, overall, women working full-time in the US make just 82% of what men do! And that’s not okay. Together we must #BreakTheBias!
There are a number of ways you can get involved to show your support, whether you work at a school, medical centre, small business or any other institution. Take a look at some of these useful IWD resources! You can also promote IWD through your social media accounts: strike the IWD 2022 pose by crossing your arms and using the hashtag #BreakTheBias!
