On such a colourful occasion it would be wrong of us not to rock our Póg!
This year Dublin pride’s theme was bang on the money; Turning the Rainbow Green.
The theme resonated with us and the news made a trip to the parade irresistible.
Not only did they reduce the number of floats, but they also recycled floats and decor from St Patrick’s Day. Pride definitely did their part to keep the party as green as can be!
Blown away by how above and beyond everyone went to rock the pride vibe. It was bursting with colour!
Our personal pride highlight would definitely be the drag brunch with Venus and Party Girl in the Bernard Shaw. They showed us how to party like ultimate gay icons and many of us got to enjoy our first ever drag show. We highly recommend that you head down to enjoy their very own naughty and cocktails if you ever get the chance!
We got many glimpses of a new flag this year! It was amazing seeing an inclusion for intersex people flying proudly on almost every Dublin street.
