Earth Day is very close to our hearts. This day has been amplifying inspiration and action worldwide on April 22nd every year since 1970. Sustainability means everyone is accounted for and everyone is accountable – businesses, governments and citizens.
We are passionate about our duty to reduce our waste and carbon footprint. This all starts with our boxes that our loved filled PÓGs are packaged in. All our jewellery boxes are made from bio plastics, which are plastic materials produced from renewable biomass sources, such as recycled food waste, woodchips, vegetable fats and oils.
We encourage our friends and customers to re-home the packaging their PÓGs come in. We are a female owned company that is dedicated to our sustainability goals and ensuring our business is just as green as our Irish roots!
Speaking of female leaders, recently one of our most renowned Irish female leaders, former president Mary Robinson received the IMAGE Lifetime Achievement awards for her work for peace, justice, human rights and a sustainable planet. You can read more about it here.
